Timber veranda with posts fixed using Cobblit

Cobblit®

A new way to fix timber posts.

Cobblit is a practical alternative to a traditional threaded rod or adjustable post base. You fix the base plate and the top plate, then simply slide the connection together. That also makes installation possible where the timber post cannot be rotated.

The connector

One connector. Two parts.

Cobblit consists of a base plate and a top plate. The base plate is fixed to the foundation and the top plate to the underside of the timber post. The two parts then slide together and the connection is locked.

Foundations

One system. Different foundations.

Cobblit can be used on concrete piers, concrete, ground screws and wood or decking.

Installation on concrete or paving is possible when a suitable, stable foundation is present. A loose concrete tile on sand is not by itself suitable as a foundation for a load-bearing timber structure.
